Kat La Rue – Author Spotlight

I’m so excited today to introduce you to Kat La Rue.

“My name is Kat, and I’m an author, YouTuber, and creator. I’m always exploring new ways to express creativity—through words, videos, and art—and this space is where I share it all.

At the heart of everything I do is a love for storytelling, whether that’s through poetry, thoughtful conversations, or capturing moments that inspire. This site is my little corner of the internet to connect, create, and hopefully spark something in you too.”

Here are some questions I asked Kat to help us get to know her better.

What do you love most about writing?

I love that writing allows us to express feelings and have conversations that we are often told not to. While my writing can be very dark and painful, I aim to be a positive person. I think I’m simply expressing a side of myself that I’ve been told is “wrong.” However, through writing, I can share that and connect with other people who feel the same.

What do you think reads will love about your books?

I hope the authenticity of my writing resonates with readers, as well as its unconventional nature. I try to keep my work as honest as possible—I simply write from the heart. In a world full of people trying to be something they’re not, I think that can be refreshing.

Are you currently working on any new books or writing projects?

I’m currently working on my second poetry collection, which I plan to release this winter. I will release more information on my social media soon.
