Caroline Bakker is a passionate advocate for holistic health and wellness, specializing in ADHD and PMDD management. As a personal trainer, health coach, meditation teacher, and author, Caroline combines her expertise in fitness and mindfulness to empower individuals worldwide. Her latest book, “The Healing Journey—Navigating ADHD and PMDD,” explores holistic strategies for managing these conditions, drawing from her personal experiences and extensive research. What do you love most about writing?

What I love most is the alchemy of it—turning pain into purpose, and chaos into clarity. Writing helps me process the things that feel too big or too complex to carry in silence. It’s where I find meaning, healing, and hope. I often say writing is how I speak to my past self, my future self, and to the woman out there who needs to hear, “You’re not broken. You’re becoming.”

What do you think readers will love about your books?

I believe readers will love how seen and understood they feel. My books aren’t written from a place of perfection or authority, but from real, lived experience. I combine raw storytelling with holistic healing strategies—blending science, soul, and self-compassion. Readers will find practical tools, emotional validation, and a deep reminder that they’re not alone on their healing journey. I write the kind of book I wish I had when I was in the thick of it.

Are you currently working on any new books or writing projects?

Yes! I’m currently working on multiple writing projects, including Thriving Naturally with PMDD, which offers a holistic roadmap for navigating hormonal mood disorders, and another book titled Becoming the Vessel, a spiritual memoir meets practical guide that explores awakening, intuition, and feminine resilience.

I’m also creating companion materials like affirmation decks, guided meditations, and a workbook to support deeper integration for readers who want more than just information—they want transformation.

Do you have a favorite book or author?

It’s so hard to choose just one, but The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho has changed my life more than once. I return to it whenever I need to remember that the answers we’re searching for are already within us. I’m also deeply inspired by the work of Gabor Maté, especially his insights on trauma and authenticity. His writing taught me that true healing begins when we stop abandoning ourselves.
