Project Eleven – Author Spotlight
What is Project Eleven?
This is a dark urban fantasy web novel series that consists of strong spiritual and religious themes. This is also inspired by many anime shows like Sailor Moon and Puella Magi Madoka Magica. The entire trope of the magical girl and traditional monsters will not be focused like any other type of cartoon show that consists of them. However, this is a deconstruction of this particular theme. What makes them popular and what makes them important in their own life. Pretty much, I will not be focusing on the glitz and glamour of a magical girl/superhero, but more on behind the scenes and how it affects the people around them.
What do you love most about writing?
What I love most about writing it’s where I decide where my story ends and begins.
That is more of a loaded statement than many. It can go over your head or are you good little they understand it just by reading it the first time? That phrase tells a story all by itself. There are times when I feel like I’m not the master of my own fate or the hero of my own destiny. When others try to control the narrative on the outside, I can do it privately on the inside.
Where everyone has their own agendas and their own narratives, I can create my own. Either I can have fun, or I can make people think. Is where I can either be right or I could be happy. I can be of the world, or I can be one of one.
Where my story ends and begins all starts with me.
What do you think readers will love about your books?
I’ve been in this world and successfully made a full rotation 39 times in my life. I have seen the worst; I’ve seen the best; only to see what tomorrow will bring.
What I bring is a sense of my own realism in a world of fantasy. I do not hold anything back when it comes to facing cultural norms and blending them with dark urban fantasy. It’s our world and what we are going through right now and that’s a little bit of fantasy spice to it.
I build the world first; I lay the foundation, the roles, the regulations, the history. And then I worked on the characters, and I just literally let nature run its course. There is no such thing as a safety net or a parachute with me; either they adapt to this world, or they will die. And even in death, that is the best option for them.
Many people can say that is dark and gritty but is also relatable– very relatable. When people read my stories, they usually say that. We usually say, “I may not like the character’s motives, but I understand where he’s coming from.” I usually focus more on characters than I usually do when it comes to world-building.
But it’s because the world that I usually build is so relatable and so basic, the complexity of the world that you will discover shines through better than most.
Are you currently working on any new books or writing projects?
I am working on a lot of books:
As of right now on Royal Road, I have just completed the first book of the Project Eleven Series called “God’s Reminder” about last year:
https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/82887/project-eleven-gods-reminder
We are about to do a Kickstarter to bring the book to Amazon and here’s the preview link for that campaign that will be starting in June 2025:

Also, I am wrapping up the second book of the series called “Malefica Obscura” this month:

And in March 2025, I will be publishing the third book of the series called “The Ways of All Flesh”
Where can people follow you online to learn more?
Yes, I just acquired a LinkTree account: linktr.ee/projecteleven
I also have a Patreon as well! I even do crossover and non-canon stories, but they are not on Royal Road. The reason why I have two separate accounts– one that is original content and the other that is crossover content– is because of me taking advantage of a few things. Royal Road is amazing when it comes to original content as Wattpad is amazing when it comes to creating fanfictions and crossover content.
My web novels will be available for early access when people pledge, and I will be commissioning official art real soon when it’s up and running on March 1, 2025.
Do you have a favorite book or author?
Hands down the bad to pick a favorite author would have to be Stephen King. To be quite honest it wasn’t for Stephen King that I wouldn’t have been a writer. When I was 13 maybe 14 years old, I started to take my enjoyment of reading and Stephen King was one of the few people that have inspired me to write.
My favorite book, or should say favorite books, has to be The Shining. If you want to talk about a slow burn experience, that’s how you do it. The characters were well-written, it wasn’t too slow or too fast. The payoff was just impeccable. And to top it all off, he went back to that world and wrote one of the best sequels I’ve ever read called Doctor Sleep.
Investment. You have to put the time and energy into creating characters so you can invest in them. Everything I’ve learned about writing in general, came from me reading nothing but Stephen King novels when I was a teenager.
