Einstein Blogging: Top Secrets to Help You Blog Smarter, Not Harder

by Forrest Webber and Megan Malone

For anyone who has ever wanted to start a blog, or make their existing blog better, this book’s for you! The book starts out with a bold-faced lie and I’m not going to tell you what it is because that would ruin all the fun. But trust me, it’s great!

From the start, it talks about the earning potential from blogging and the importance of investing in solid structures, nurturing them, and watching them grow for you. I think that’s one of the things I love most about blogging – aside from the fact I enjoy writing. It’s such a satisfying feeling to know that you can create something that can earn for you again and again over time. Personally, I’ve had single blog posts that made me thousands of dollars over the years.

This book says in the intro they have a website with a single blog post that has earned over $20,000 – from $1,000-$2,500 every month for over two years. Can you imagine? How might that change your life? And from one great-earning post like that, you can branch out into others that also earn you a pretty penny.

From the motivating intro, the book dives right into getting start with chapter one. You can be completely new to blogging and pick this up and it’s going to walk you through it, step by step. It doesn’t just talk about how to blog (and there’s plenty of other sources for that anyway), but it tells you how to blog the right way. If you want to put your best foot forward into blogging, this is the tool you need in your kit.

It teaches you the right and wrong ways to blog – remember the “smarter, not harder” part of the subtitle. This is also an incredibly great resource for learning to avoid burnout. I have been blogging since 1998 when the whole concept was pretty new. I’ve done it for fun, I’ve done it for profit, I’ve flipped blog sites, and everything in between. I also made a lot of mistakes along the way and I didn’t know how to monetize at all in those early years. I just did it because I loved the subject I was writing about.

This book helps you learn how to turn blogging into a business. It’s not for hobbyists or side hustles. It’s for motivated entrepreneurs who are ready to take that step toward turning their blog into a business, or any professional or niche expert who wants to turn their passion into a money-making blog. This guide is going to help you learn all the right steps to take to do it right from the start. You won’t have to waste time on trial and error (like I did).

Another great feature of this book is the real-life case studies at the end. You’ll learn how Susan Storm turned a personality blog into a six-figure blogging enterprise, how Tracie Fobes turned her personal finance blog into a six-figure online business, and how Ben Huber and Jeff Proctor built a seven-figure purpose-driven company.

These are more than just stories of people who hit it big; they are insider secrets from successful bloggers that show you how you can do the same when you apply the advice and wisdom of this book. I also like that it uses different examples of types of blogs and methods of monetization. It’s not a cookie-cutter mold you have to try to make yourself fit into. There are different ways to succeed and still stay true to your own brand and style.

A recap of what the book has to offer:

  • Practical Strategies: Discover actionable tips to expand your blog and increase revenue.
  • Monetization Mastery: Dive deep into various blog monetization methods and find what works best for you.
  • Inspirational Success Stories: Get motivated with real-life stories from bloggers who built six-figure businesses.

  • Additional Insights: Enjoy interviews with successful bloggers like Tracie FobesSusan Storm of PsychologyJunkie.com, and Ben Huber of DollarSprout.com

All in all, this is a fantastic guide and I cannot recommend it enough to anyone who wants to get serious about their blog and turn it into a successful business.
