Meet Me on Christmas Eve: Book Review

Two people, with a reversal of fortunes.
A love of Christmas buried from a difficult past.
Regret and resentment abound, with a fire that was never truly extinguished.

I recently told you about this book by Alana Highbury and I was so grateful she gifted me a review copy and it was everything I thought it would be – and more!

This book brings all the magic of the holiday season, a fun cozy rom com, and a love story that will keep you working it out. It’s angsty, funny, and sweet. This second chance holiday romance will be one you don’t want to put down. It got me really excited for the upcoming holiday season (and who knows? Maybe even a little romance of my own!)

In this story, we meet Mariana, a successful businesswoman with a traumatic past. She doesn’t do emotions. Then she bumps into Terry – the guy who ghosted her and broke her heart more than 10 years ago. The spark is still there between them, but is it worth igniting?

You’ll have to read to find out. This festive second-chance romance will get you all in your feels as you see Mariana try to navigate hers for the first time in a very long time. Highly recommend and it’s on Kindle and in Kindle Unlimited too.

This is a sweet romance without explicit scenes, but it does contain profanity and some serious themes.
