SunlitSeeker – Author Spotlight

SunlitSeeker is the bestselling author behind the critically acclaimed “Fine Lines and the Fat Ones” (FLFO) and “The Deadly Rogue.”

A technopreneur by day, philanthropist by night, and storytelling bard on rainy days and Sundays, SunlitSeeker’s unique perspective and poetic voice have captivated readers worldwide.

Drawing inspiration from the world around them, SunlitSeeker sees life as a ‘gallery’ to be explored, with beauty transcending the surface. This sentiment is reflected in their lyrical prose, as evidenced by this excerpt:

“The rainbow from my dreams

gave emerald its green,

daubed ruby with blood-red sheen.

I called the rose the prettiest;

It rose above the rest.”

Despite the success of their works, SunlitSeeker remains an unsigned writer, preferring to let their stories speak for themselves. In their own words, they explain their philosophy on writing: “A scribe can only take dictation; they can never be a dictator.”

Find them on Amazon and on Goodreads.

I also had the wonderful opportunity to ask SunlitSeeker some questions about their writing.

Q: What do you love most about writing?

Touching you deep within. Whispering a secret in your ears, when you are alone – all alone.

Q: What do you think readers will love about your books?

Authenticity and the shades on my paintings – hues of watercolor wash, vivid oil paints, marred tempera, or stark black and white. I deeply feel for my fiduciary responsibilities as storyteller. So, I pack a variety of nuances within my lines, hoping somehow some of them will influence a better world someday. My friends, the readers, love the little extra care I weave into each brushstroke of my literary efforts.

Q: Are you currently working on any new books or writing projects?

Yes. But, I don’t write books as projects. I tell stories, scribble them as they come; barring, “The Deadly Rogue,” which I had to complete before a young child turned eighteen. As of today, there are two novels and many stories, long or short, lying in my laptop since long, waiting to be told in some form or the other.

Q: Where can people follow you online to learn more?

Why follow a persona? Follow your heart. If your heart syncs with mine, stay connected. I have a Facebook and Twitter profile, and wish to start posting some thoughts and ideas on them sometime soon.

Q: Do you have a favorite book or author?

Of course, rather many of them. Right now the first drop of rain that fell on my little hand, is Lord Tennyson.

Annalise, you rock! Thank you so much for sharing about SunlitSeeker, my favorite author. I have read both the books you mentioned, and also many of their other stories and articles that were published in magazines and journals. The author’s creations are truly authentic and eclectic. When you read their articles on flawed artificial intelligence algorithms, you can never imagine it’s the same person who wrote The Deadly Rogue. It reminds me of Alice in Wonderland.

From now on, I’d visit annalisereads.com more often than before to discover more hidden gems.
