Author Spotlight: Marika Abaya Morido
I am so excited about today’s Author Spotlight! Her books are fantastic for anyone wanting to dive deeper than the basics of astrology. I’ve shared them on my Booktok channel and I’m very happy to tell you more about her today.
Marika Abaya Morido is a shamanic artist, Reiki healer, astrologer & Tarot reader. She is the author of the book “THE ASTROLOGY OF LILITH & ALGOL,” and “ALKEMIA: PLANETARY INVOCATIONS IN THE AQUARIAN AGE”, which are now available on Amazon and Bookemon.
What do you love most about writing?
It frees me from being trapped in my own chaos. Hopefully I can also help others who have felt trapped like me.
What do you think readers will love about your books?
I wrote my book THE ASTROLOGY OF LILITH & ALGOL because I have always been drawn to Lilith since I was a child, and when I started studying to become an astrologer I had a hard time finding interpretations of all 4 Liliths when this was what fascinated me most. So I thought of creating a book fully focused on this Dark Goddess. With Alkemia, I wanted to create a book that focused on practical ways to use astrology, such as the use of remediations. Astrology is not fate. For those who want to learn more about cosmic witchcraft, I hope Alkemia helps them on their path. The path, of course, will be just as unique as the witch who carves it.
Are you currently working on any new books or writing projects?
For now I am focusing on doing astrology and Tarot readings for all my clients. I am also hoping to travel very soon.
