The Mundane Speaks

Slip the Trap’s book, “The Mundane Speaks,” is a delightful read. It’s a collection of short stories that were initially published on Kindle Vella, and each one details an aspect of the author’s life but with a fictional twist that brings it to life.

I particularly enjoyed the way Slip the Trap portrayed the stories in the book. The titles themselves, such as “Stuck Inside,” “Edge Walkers,” and “Delta Morgan,” were captivating and piqued my interest in the stories.

This is the type of book you will continue thinking about long after you walk away from it because each story invites you to look deeper, reflect more, and see the world around you with a new lens. While the short stories can be read quickly, I prefer to soak them up, one at a time, and let them marinate in my thoughts.

Overall, I found “The Mundane Speaks” to be a refreshing take on the short story genre, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a captivating read that will keep them entertained. Slip the Trap’s writing style is both unique and engaging, and I look forward to reading more of their work in the future.
