I’ve had ADHD my whole life, but it wasn’t until I was a legal adult that I first began to receive treatment to help me with it. I found out that many people assigned female at birth have this same struggle. Our ADHD doesn’t always present the same way as it does in males. And females are often better at “masking” or hiding the symptoms they face every day.
