Mayra Barry – Author Spotlight

Mayra Barry is an author with a heart to inspire readers. Since childhood, Mayra loved to write stories. Though she never thought about becoming an author, her realization in writing books became true in 2022 when she had a dream and had to write about it. She hopes to reach as many readers as she can. It would be worth it if she could inspire one or more readers. She is now determined to continue writing books as this is her passion. She completed her first book, “VICTORY,” from the Kemet Island Series. Her 2nd book from the series is due to be published in late spring 2024.

I’m so excited to introduce you to Mayra and her books. Here are some questions I asked her so that you could all get to know her better.

What do you love most about writing?

I love being able to inspire readers with the stories I create.

What do you think readers will love about your books?

My current book ‘Victory’ from my 1st series, Kemet Island Series, is full of Action and Adventure with a sweet romance involved. It is a Christian Adventure Romance novel. I feel like God has given me a gift that I never knew I had. I can visualize the story in my mind, like a movie I get to write about that I think readers who enjoy action, adventure, and romance would love.

Are you currently working on any new books or writing projects?

Current book I’m promoting is Book #1 ‘Victory’ of my first ever series, “Kemet Island Series.” Currently working on the next book (#2), which will continue the adventure. This won’t be due until next spring 2024
